New childcare centre a first for Blakes Crossing

Blakes Crossing residents will soon have the convenience of quality childcare on their doorsteps as development of what will be the community’s first educational facility begins early next year.

A new childcare centre is set to be built and operated by South Australian childcare provider Stepping Stone (SA) Childcare and Early Development Centres Pty Ltd.

Formed in 2006, Stepping Stone now has 12 centres across the state, all aimed at meeting the needs of local and extended communities with tailor-made childcare facilities.

Delfin Lend Lease Project Director Troy Jamieson said the new Blakes Crossing childcare centre demonstrated Delfin Lend Lease’s commitment to providing quality learning services relevant to its residents.

“Blakes Crossing’s new childcare centre will be a first for the community and will offer families a unique facility tailored to their local environment,” Mr Jamieson said.

He said centre locations were purposely selected to meet community needs and Blakes Crossing was to be an integrated service facility.
