Noodle Box opens in Mawson Lakes in January

Mawson Lakes' dining scene is firing up with Noodle Box - the original wok-tossed noodles in a box - opening a store on Main Street at 10am on Saturday 30 January 2010.

Store Owner and manager, Kelvin Henderson, said Noodle Box will more than satisfy the community's craving for fresher, healthier convenient food options.

Kelvin, who has called Mawson Lakes home for six years, is currently looking for fun and friendly casual staff to join his team.

"We recognise the need to provide Mawson Lakes with a healthy alternative for lunch or dinner that is hot, fresh, affordable and served with a smile by locals," Kelvin said.

"We'd love for job seekers that want to work with a great team, product and brand to send in their resumes."

The Noodle Box menu boasts 16 different Asian-style noodle, rice, soup and salad boxes as well as a delicious selection of starters and a dessert.

The meals themselves are highly authentic, but completely customisable to suit the tastes and dietary requirements of the customer, including vegetarians, coeliacs, gluten or lactose intolerants andthose seeking low fat or low carbohydrate options.

After studying the local dining scene, Kelvin pinpointed Main Street as a prime location for Noodle Box.

'In my opinion, Noodle box is the missing link in Mawson Lakes' convenience food landscape and we're excited to be bringing this healthy and affordable option to the neighbourhood,'' he said.

Noodle Box will also offer off-site catering for all occaisions, from corporate events and boardroom functions to school lunches and birthday parties.

The Mawson Lakes store will be located at Shop 5, 33 Main Street and will be open 7 days for lunch and dinner.
