The maintenance of landscaped areas is a key role of Adelaide Parks and Gardens but the maintenance is not always up to standard and weeds may be allowed to flourish
Recommended action for MLEW members:
- If you notice a public landscaped area which needs attention please report it with location and the nature of the problem. Or if hand weeding will tidy the site you may prefer to undertake that work.
- If you would like to join those of us authorised to undertake spraying of weeds (training required) contact the Coordinator Colin Taylor ph 83594880 or colmar@nuskope.com.au. Equipment and chemicals will be provided.
MULCHING
Another issue with landscaped areas is the lack of or breakdown of mulch which needs replenishment. APG have access to mulch and vehicles so should undertake any mulching required.

- If you believe a landscaped area needs mulching please report it with precise location to the Coordinator Colin Taylor ph 83594880 or colmar@nuskope.com.au
VERGES OR VACANT BLOCKS
All property owners in Mawson Lakes are required by the encumbrance to establish and maintain a neat and tidy verge in front of each property. Likewise there is a requirement for vacant blocks to be kept reasonably tidy.
Recommended action:
- If you happen to know the owners involved you may prefer to talk to them directly. Otherwise report the precise location of any offending property to the Coordinator Colin Taylor ph 83594880 or colmar@nuskope.com.au
