Blakes Crossing residents now have the convenience of fresh food right on their doorstep with Woolworths, the community’s first Village Centre retailer, having opened its doors on Wednesday 6th July 2011.
Delfin Lend Lease Project Director Troy Jamieson said Woolworths was a welcomed and well-situated retailer that would ensure residents had convenient access to fresh, gourmet produce.
“Recognising that fresh, easily accessible food is a necessity for residents, Delfin Lend Lease is extremely excited to have Woolworths on board as the Blakes Crossing Village Centre’s first retailer,” Mr Jamieson said.
“As more and more residents begin moving in to the community we hope they’ll come to appreciate the convenience of having fresh food at their disposal,” he said.
“Woolworths will be a convenient amenity for the local community and marks the beginning of a range of exciting Village Centre shopping and dining experiences to soon feature at Blakes Crossing.
“As well as providing quality living options and a range of amenities, Delfin Lend Lease is committed to providing residents with convenient retail solutions unique to their local environment.”
Blakes Crossing Woolworths will be a full- size store complete with a new bakery offering gourmet breads and pastries, a large meat and gourmet deli, and featuring new self-serve checkouts to add to residents’ convenience.
