You are invited to register your interest in Dragon Boating
Adelaide Sea Dragons Dragon Boat Club is planning to establish dragon boating at Mawson Lakes and will be providing the opportunity for enthusiastic people from the local community to get involved.
What is Dragon Boating?
Dragon boating is the world’s fastest growing water sport. From its origins in China over 2000 years ago, it is now a major participation sport in more than 56 countries in the world and enjoyed by 50 million people. What is it all about?
Dragon boating is an inexpensive, healthy, outdoor sport & cross-training option which can be enjoyed as a pleasurable social recreation or a highly competitive sport.
Sea Dragons own 2 boats, one of which they wish to relocate to Mawson Lakes and provide accredited personal to initially conduct 2 training sessions per week.
The Club encourages both men and women from the age of 12 years to establish Junior (12-18yrs), Premier (19-39yrs) and Masters (40+) categories. They cater for all levels of fitness and ability to commit.
Why Adelaide Sea Dragons?
Adelaide Sea Dragons are a Club made up of both younger members and 'not quite as young!' ones who have... "the heart and will to win, enthusiasm to give anything a go, a sense of humour and an enviable track record"

A membership base which extends to the regional towns of Streaky Bay & Ceduna on Eyre Peninsula

They say: "Adelaide Sea Dragons always strive to win, but we also put an emphasis on fun and always ensure that whatever we undertake is enjoyable."
How to get involved?
To begin with we require an expression of interest from you so that we can identify the level of interest in establishing the sport. Feel free to encourage family members, friends, school mates or business associates.
